1920- born in Framlingham Reserve in western Victoria1934- stop school
1937- ran a sawmill
1940- enlisted to fight in World War II
May 1941- participated the 42nd Battle, did not evacuate in time
1942- escaped, return to Australia
1944- promoted to lieutenant, married Dorothy Banfiels
1945- discharged from army
1950- rejoined army
1954- requested discharge from army
1969- recruited to Office of Aboriginal Affairs
1980- retired
1990- passed away
